The Oriana Youth Programme

Join A Choir You Will Love -

01 - Sing Carols!

We are inviting any Year 12 graduates to join with us as we perform Carols at various venues around the Sunshine Coast. It gives you a chance to see if you and Oriana are a "fit" without any cost or long term commitment.

02 - Audition!

Oriana is an auditioned Choir. We hold two or three audition rounds each year. You are required to do some fairly straightforward musical exercises and you are expected to sing in front of the auditioning panel. Don't stress, it is not too difficult but it does help us to maintain a standard.

03 - Join Us!

Having completed a successful audition you will be invited to join the Choir. We do have a probationary period of three months, just to make sure you are a good fit with us and vice versa. Members of the choir are required to pay an annual membership fee and there are season fees for each season you perform in. As part of our Youth Programme we have introduced a reduced fee structure for all young adults up to age 25.

04 - Scholarships!

We will also be offering scholarships for our Young Adults. A scholarship will acknowledge your potential to excel across a range of areas within the organisation and will require extra effort by the recipients. Scholarships will be awarded based on the quality of the applicants to meet these criteria and their willingness to take on extra responsibilities when asked.
