The Piano Men: A Musical Delight Not to be Missed!

In little more than a week, one of the Coast’s most exciting musical events for 2025 will begin!

At 2 pm on Saturday, March 29, at Matthew Flinders Performance Centre, Buderim; and again at 1.30 and 7.30 pm, April 5, at the J, Noosa; the fabulous Oriana Choir will take the stage to bring you The Piano Men: The Music Of Billy Joel And Elton John.

The Choir, with featured soloists, guest appearances by the acclaimed Sunshine Coast Youth Choir, an excellent troupe of dancers (none of them tiny!), and supported by a superb seven-piece band, will present a veritable feast of the very best of these two icons of popular music.

If you have the merest acquaintance with the music of either of these legendary performers; or if you are a diehard, rusted-on fan; or if you simply enjoy good music professionally and excitingly presented, then a truly splendid time is guaranteed for you.

The catalogue of wonderful songs from both Billy and Elton is nigh endless. There are so many, in fact, that to feature every one that deserved inclusion would require another three or four concerts! But we’re confident that our repertoire will come to you with satisfaction guaranteed. From Your Song to Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, from Piano Man to River of Dreams – you will be treated to one great performance after another.

If you were fortunate enough to be in the audience for last year’s Dancing Queen: A Tribute to ABBA and Queen, you will remember what a stunning success it was. Well, I can promise you that The Piano Men will be every bit as exciting, enjoyable and entertaining.

It doesn’t matter what you wear, just as long as you are there. You can come just the way you are. But don’t delay making your booking, as seats are selling fast.
