Oriana Inaugural Spring Garden Party

2020 has been a phenomenal year for everyone and the long-term impact of the pandemic on the Arts industry is yet to be fully realised. Oriana - as one of Queensland's finest vocal ensembles - has experienced first-hand the devastating impact of event cancellations for our guest artists, including local and national vocalists, musicians and directors. 

In a small way, we hope to bring new performance opportunities to life in 2021 so that we can fully engage with an industry we have seen devastated by Covid -19 in 2020. To do this, we would love your support. Not only were two of our major performance seasons cancelled this year, we have also been unable to rely on other fundraiser opportunities such as Bunnings Sausage Sizzles and regularly providing Eumundi Car Parking assistants. 

In aid of getting the choir back on its feet for 2021, we thought we'd undertake a really positive and uplifting project...our inaugural Spring Garden Party Fundraiser! We've been busy planting seedlings and cuttings, planning some delicious baking, and making jams, preserves and pickled goods. There will be cakes and crafts; one chorister is even donating a substantial portion of his LP collection! Our lovely CDs will also be available for purchase (both cash & eftpos will be accepted).

This event will be run in full compliance with the current Covid-19 regulations and will be held at the beautiful property of one of our choristers. We hope to see you there!
